About us: Intersectoral School of Governance
Sustainable energy supply, mobility for the future, health care, affordable housing, integration of immigrants: our society currently faces many urgent challenges. The state alone cannot master them, although neither can the economy or civil society do this independently. These challenges require a new level of communication, cooperation and collaboration as well as project leaders who have the required skills. This concerns cooperation across these sectoral boundaries - in other words: intersectoral cooperation.
In this context, "governance" means accordingly: a steering of future projects in which the state, the economy and civil society combine their usual approaches.
The state, together with the sponsors of Arbeitgeberverband Südwestmetall, Dieter Schwarz Stiftung and Robert Bosch Stiftung, is therefore investing 3.5 million Euros until 2023. Together they have initiated the Intersectoral School of Governance Baden-Württemberg (ISoG BW) as another part of the DHBW CAS. At this location, professionals and executives from business, the state, government and civil society will be able to learn intersectoral leadership skills in direct exchange with each other.
